Shayne is the founding executive director of Green Okanagan and resides in Kelowna, B.C. Since moving to the Okanagan, in 2017, Shayne has been passionate about progressing sustainability in our community and sharing the message of Zero Waste living. She strives to inspire others to adapt their lifestyle and reduce their impact. Shayne has a background in communications, community development, and stakeholder and Indigenous relations. Shayne sees grassroots community engagement as a force to progress positive change. 

Karolina is a member of Green Okanagan and resides in West Kelowna, B.C. With a background in holistic nutrition and nonprofit sector development, Karolina has a sincere passion for healthy green living and building strong communities. Her commitment to our community and desire to progress sustainability initiatives lead her to Green Okanagan. Through her involvement with GO, Karolina strives to share her passion for healthy green living with our community.

Kayla is a founding member of Green Okanagan and serves as the assistant director. She has a passion for the environment, travel, and sustainable development. Kayla studied mechanical engineering at UBC Okanagan and plans to use her degree to advance green innovation, alternative energy methods, and community waste reduction initiatives. Kayla is eager to progress sustainability through her involvement with Green Okanagan, and sharing her passion through positive, green change. Someday, she hopes to delve into the world of policy development.

Olivia grew up in the Okanagan and currently calls Vernon home. She has a background in the Wine Tourism Industry and holds a degree in Geography as well as her Masters in Tourism Management. From a young age, her biggest passion has always been protecting the environment, and she has found a great community of like-minded people at GO. Olivia is founder of her own Sustainability Marketing company - One Earth Consulting - and also the proud owner of a 2019 Tesla Model 3!
